Iain Cowden
Iain is a working Musical Director with over 11 years experience of working with children in theatrical production.
Iain musically directed the Wandsworth, Putney and Roehampton Gang Shows for 5 years and has worked as a children's singing teacher for over 10 years.
Iain trained as a musician at University of Surrey, specialising in Piano and Voice in performance, before going to drama school to study classical acting. He has worked professionally as an actor and continues to work professionally as a musical director and performer.
Iain is passionate about musical theatre and has musically directed many of Putney's local Amateur groups as well as several professional revue entertainments at the Canal Café. Iain strongly believes in singing as an active art which is intrinsically linked with acting and dance.
Francesca Leyland
Francesca is currently in her first year at the Arts Educational School on the Musical theatre course studying for a BA Hons Degree in Musical Theatre with a full scholarship. She hails from the Shetland Islands in Scotland. Previous to Arts Ed, she trained for two years at The Dance School of Scotland, on the Musical Theatre Course gaining an A.T.C.L diploma in performance from Trinity College, London. Francesca recently made her west end debut in the cast of 'Christmas in New York' in the Lyric theatre followed by a solo performance with the cast of 'Sunday Night Live' in her Majestys Theatre (home of Phantom of the Opera), 'Conchita' in Copacabana (Glasgow) and 'Roy' in the Scottish premier of 'Bat Boy' the musical. At college she was selected to workshop a new musical with working professionals for writer Phil Willmott. Francesca recieved an A for her I.S.T.D intermediate Modern exam and has a range of qualifications in Scottish Highland Dancing up to Gold bar 3 level. She has taught with her mothers dance group for years teaching children of all ages ballet, jazz contemporary and theatre dance.
Francesca loves giving children the opportunity to be creative and express themselves and also enjoys learning from teaching them which she can bring to her own work on her degree course.

Beverley Routley

Beverley has over 25 years experience of working with children. She is a qualified first aider and Nursery Nurse. Beverley has many teaching and childcare qualifications and works as an LSA with children who have mild to moderate special needs. She is well able to guide and support children as well as manage the day to day running of Theatrecraft and is pretty sure she can cope with every eventuality that might arise!!
